Name the distraction.
Keep separate lists for YouTube, social feeds, shopping, or your own mix of websites. Start with one boundary that would make today easier.
FOR YOUR ATTENTION · FOR MAC
One more video. One more scroll. Give the things you meant to do a little breathing room, with website boundaries that fit your day.
For work, study, and the time you want back

SEE THE BOUNDARY IN EVERYDAY LIFE
From “just one video” to a weekday boundary. Watch the focus walkthrough.
Lunch is over. Just one video, then back to work.
Then one more. And one more. The feed never runs out.
Suddenly it’s two thirty-seven, and the deadline is at three.
It’s not a willpower problem. Feeds are built to keep you there.
So let Locket hold the line during work hours.
Step one. Describe the feeds that pull you in, in your own words.
Say what stays allowed, too. Like your work chat.
Step two. Put it on a schedule: weekdays, nine to five.
It’s already working hours, so it starts right now. Evenings stay yours.
Step three. Back to work, and then, out of habit…
Locket catches it. No willpower needed.
A clip site you’ve never listed? Same thing.
Your work chat stays open, just like you asked.
Finish the idea. Your feed can wait until five.
Locket for Mac. Get it at locket dot so.
A FEW CLEAR CHOICES
Keep separate lists for YouTube, social feeds, shopping, or your own mix of websites. Start with one boundary that would make today easier.
Choose weekdays and blocking hours, or a fixed duration for a longer break. Recurring schedules save you from setting the same boundary every morning.
After setup, close the control app and let the saved website rules run in the background. Adjust a recurring schedule between its active windows.
TRY A LITTLE BOUNDARY
See what a weekday boundary could look like. Choose a category and adjust the hours in this example.
This is a website preview. Protection requires Locket on macOS 15 or later and the relevant macOS approvals.
Example only. Nothing is saved and no websites are blocked here. Set up protection in the Mac app to apply a boundary.
FOR THE TIME YOU WANT BACK
Set aside time for a reading list, a problem set, or an exam. A website list blocks the whole site, so review any resources you need before locking it.
Give writing, coding, or a project your attention. Keep the distracting sites in their own category, with hours that match your working day.
Add the stores and marketplaces you keep returning to. A scheduled boundary gives an impulse time to pass before you come back to it.
A FEW THINGS TO KNOW
A saved youtube.com website rule blocks that domain and its subdomains, including useful videos. Optional content matching can use a narrower description, but it is not a guaranteed way to distinguish work from leisure. Do not add a whole-site rule if you need access to part of that site.
You can change recurring schedules between their blocking windows. During an active window, the category is locked. Fixed-duration locks have no early unlock through Locket, so review your websites and timing first.
These boundaries are for websites on your Mac. Locket does not currently block native apps or provide phone protection or cross-device schedules. Content matching works in supported foreground browsers; Firefox and background tabs are not covered by that check.
Saved website rules do not need screen access. Optional content matching requires separate consent to send the foreground browser window and category details for online classification. Images are processed in memory without screenshot history; they may contain personal information visible in the browser.
