SEE THE BOUNDARY IN EVERYDAY LIFE
From choosing a category to a 30-day commitment. Watch the gambling walkthrough.
It’s almost two in the morning. You’re just checking your balance.
And right on cue, a bonus that ends in twenty minutes.
At this hour, willpower is hard. These sites are built to pull you back.
So make the decision once, while you’re clear-headed. This is Locket.
Step one. Describe what you want to stay away from, in plain words.
No website list needed. And you decide what stays allowed, like recovery support.
Give it a name, pick an icon, and apply.
Step two. Lock it, so the decision holds when the urge hits.
Thirty days. No early unlock, not even for you.
Then close the app. Protection keeps running in the background.
Step three: just browse. Even a casino you’ve never heard of…
…gets blocked. Locket reads the page, and recognizes gambling by what it is.
Sportsbooks too. Even brand-new ones.
But support stays open. Because that’s what you asked for.
Give today’s decision time to take root.
Locket for Mac. Get it at locket dot so.
A FEW CLEAR CHOICES
Start with the Gambling category, review its website list, and add sites you want to block. You can also describe the content you want to avoid.
Set a fixed duration. An active time-only lock cannot be shortened or switched off through Locket. Review your choices before starting.
After setup, saved website rules run in the background when you close the control app. Optional content checks help recognize unfamiliar pages.
TRY A LITTLE BOUNDARY
Try an example commitment. In the Mac app, you review your websites, setup, and end time before a lock begins.
This is a website preview. Protection requires Locket on macOS 15 or later and the relevant macOS approvals.

Example only. Nothing is saved and no websites are blocked here. Set up protection in the Mac app to apply a boundary.
A BOUNDARY YOU UNDERSTAND
Time-only locks have no early-unlock button in Locket. Your Mac’s administrator still has system-level removal authority.
Saved website rules work without screen access. With your consent, content matching sends the supported browser window in front to Locket’s server for classification.
Locket is for Mac. Content matching does not cover Firefox, background tabs, or native apps. VPNs, encrypted DNS, and existing connections can leave gaps in website blocking.
A FEW THINGS TO KNOW
No. The starter list is a starting point, not a complete directory. You can add websites and choose optional content matching for unfamiliar pages, but detection can miss or be unsure about content. Check the sites you rely on blocking before committing.
After protection setup, the separate background components keep saved website rules configured when the control app closes. If the online classifier is unavailable or unsure, unfamiliar pages stay open and checks retry. An outage is not a successful check.
Optional content matching requires your consent and macOS permissions. It sends the foreground browser window, which may contain personal information, plus category names, definitions, and example sites. Images are processed in memory without screenshot history. Your personal reminders and saved rules stay on your Mac.
Locket provides a website boundary, not treatment or a guarantee against gambling. It can be one part of a plan that includes self-exclusion, bank payment blocks where available, and support from a qualified professional or someone you trust.
